All my life I've loved to shine. Shine around the neighborhood. Shine in school. Shine at the office. And, most importantly, shine for my kiddos. I like it, being bright and happy. I subscribe to the belief that a sharp mind and a sunny disposition can occupy the same human. Here, I hope to share both the sunny side, as well as the reflective, thoughtful side of who I am.

Things I love: the smell of books, old crosses, the lake where I live, of course my children, dark and brooding coffee, smart humor, my wriggly dog, the thrill of speed, adventures taken and yet to be had, cleverly crafted words, sipping merlot with friends
